2024.06.24. The Fair Economy — The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on the 24th that it has launched a new "Treaty Information Website (https://treatyweb.mofa.go.kr)" with significantly improved user convenience.
Previously, treaty information was provided as a sub-menu on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website.
The new website, by contrast, adds various features such as integrated search and search by field and country, parallel viewing of Korean and English treaty texts, and direct links to specific articles. It also introduces personalized functions through a My Page menu, including bookmarking favorite treaties and setting notifications when treaties of interest take effect.
The site also applies responsive design to display an optimized screen for different devices, including desktop computers, tablets and mobile phones, improving usability and accessibility for users.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said it expects the new website will make it easier, faster and more convenient not only for experts in academia, law and the media but also for ordinary citizens to find and use information on treaties concluded by South Korea.
