2024.07.03. The Fair Economy — Network specialist Netu announced on the 3rd that it has launched the AX1500-class gigabit Wi-Fi router 'MEX601' supporting the IEEE 802.11ax standard.
The MEX601, which supports Wi-Fi6, provides wireless link speeds of up to 1500Mbps (1201Mbps on 5GHz, 300Mbps on 2.4GHz) using four antennas. Both WAN and LAN ports support wired gigabit speeds of 1000Mbps. With OFDMA, MU-MIMO (Multi User MIMO), and Beamforming technology, it offers a comfortable wireless Wi-Fi environment, enabling simultaneous connections with more wireless devices, fast downloads of large files, lag-free high-end gaming, and smooth high-resolution video streaming.
The Mesh function built into the MEX601 allows for both wired and wireless internet connection without distinguishing between controllers and agents. Its OpenVPN feature lets all devices connected to the router connect to a desired server without installing a separate VPN client program, enabling data and information to be shared and used with the highest security and speed.
NetU Corp said, "We plan to continue increasing customer satisfaction by extending the after-sales service period for NetU products and steadily updating our existing domestically developed firmware to enhance performance and security."
