2024.07.08. The Fair Economy — Artificial intelligence (AI) and digital transformation (DX) specialist InsWave Systems announced on the 8th that it has obtained Software Accessibility (SA) certification for its generative AI-based augmented development solution 'WebSquare AI'.
The SA certification is a system that certifies the accessibility level of software developed to ensure convenience for all users by complying with relevant accessibility guidelines and other standards, and awards a mark symbolizing this achievement.
According to InsWave, WebSquare AI obtained the new SA certification by perfectly passing the review process, which applied various methods for accessing software and using assistive devices for different types of disabilities in compliance with software accessibility guidelines.
WebSquare AI, launched last March, is a UI/UX development tool that enhances convenience so anyone can develop easily and conveniently. It integrates four AI Copilot functions utilizing large language models (LLMs) into InsWave's representative web standard UI/UX solution, 'WebSquare5.'
Notably, WebSquare AI's core features have been registered as international patents in South Korea, the United States, and Japan, earning recognition for providing users with more intuitive and convenient interfaces in the global market and achieving various innovations in the development process.
Through this SA certification, WebSquare AI has completely removed barriers to entry for information-disadvantaged groups using the solution, further elevating its value as an innovative solution and the most desirable model where AI development assists humanity.
Eo Se-ryong, CEO of InsWave, said, "Obtaining SA certification and having the largest number of references supporting WA (Web Accessibility) certification prove that our solution best follows web standards in every process, from authoring tools to user screens. Going forward, we will create a friendly solution that combines web standard compliance with new AI technology to cover both accessibility and convenience for general users and disadvantaged groups alike."
Meanwhile, InsWave Systems' WebSquare is the only solution in its category that automatically (by default) uses HTML5 tags compliant with web accessibility (WA). This helps adopting companies easily obtain web accessibility quality certification without special effort. Based on this, there are about 25 WA certification cases, including NICE's public service and the National Tax Service's Hometax, recording the highest number among similar solutions in South Korea.
