The recommendation AI, which provides users with a new news experience, was independently researched and developed by 2Digit.
The currently available news categories include economy, entertainment, sports, real estate, and overseas media outlets. 2Digit said it plans to add other categories in consultation with Shinhan Bank. The advantage of the AI one-person newspaper is that it reduces unnecessary searches for finding articles. Since AI already recommends news of interest, individual users can save time while enjoying a more convenient news experience. In particular, by setting interests, users can view only news related to those keywords. Push notifications to inform users about reports on their news of interest are also under consideration for customer convenience.
"If I Were a Reporter!?" combines AI technology with a personality test. It is a new service where users test their news preferences and AI recommends articles that match their profile. The test consists of 12 questions and is available for free to anyone.
