2024.07.23. The Fair Economy — Private Technologies (CEO Kim Yeong-rang) announced on the 23rd that its zero trust communication security service 'PacketGo' has earned the Cloud Security Assurance Program (CSAP) SaaS standard grade.
The Cloud Security Assurance Program (CSAP) is a certification system that evaluates and certifies compliance with information security standards to verify the safety and reliability of private cloud services and enable their supply to public institutions.
According to PrivateTech, PacketGo is a cloud-based zero trust platform that provides consistent and robust security at every point where data communicates or moves, through 'data flow' control technology that controls logical connections and data access along data movement paths.
Data access control policies can be easily configured, allowing government and public institutions with limited security personnel to readily adopt a zero trust security framework.
A key feature is that it offers zero trust security services on a subscription basis, aligning with the spread of cloud work environments such as public software-as-a-service (SaaS) and the Digital Platform Government. Its pay-as-you-go subscription model allows for enhanced security without initial setup costs or equipment installation.

PrivateTech has continuously obtained security certifications, including CC certification, GS certification, and rapid verification certificates, in addition to this CSAP certification, strengthening its security and reliability. Through these efforts, the company expects to effectively introduce zero trust security frameworks to government and public institutions.
Kim Yeong-rang, CEO of PrivateTech, said, "This recognition confirms that our zero trust security model provides the highest level of security and safety in cloud environments. We will continue to strive to spread the zero trust security model through relentless technological innovation and security enhancement."
