2024.07.23. The Fair Economy — PIOLINK (CEO Cho Yeong-cheol) announced on the 23rd that it has signed a business agreement with KTNF (CEO Lee Jung-yeon) to strengthen technical cooperation for the development of servers dedicated to its hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) and for infrastructure projects.

The agreement is aimed at technical collaboration to link PIOLINK's HCI with KTNF's servers. The two companies plan to leverage each other's products and partners to explore infrastructure and cloud-related business opportunities and expand sales.

PIOLINK's self-developed POPCON HCI simplifies IT infrastructure by combining servers, storage, and networks into a single platform. It offers ease of management, high operational efficiency, and excellent flexibility and scalability. It features advanced capabilities such as container environment support, load balancing as a service (LBaaS), disaster recovery (DR), high availability (HA), and backup and recovery. With an all-in-one perpetual license, it provides significant cost savings compared to virtualization solutions.

KTNF's Coreridge servers, which use motherboards designed and manufactured in-house, boast excellent performance and stability and are widely used across various industries. Notably, they are the only servers among domestic server manufacturers to be designated as excellent R&D innovation products by the Ministry of Science and ICT, which has solidified the position of domestic servers in the public market through negotiated contracts. Through this agreement, KTNF plans to focus on developing servers dedicated to POPCON HCI to further strengthen its competitiveness in the public market.
