2024.07.24. The Fair Economy — SSR (CEO Ko Pil-ju) announced on the 24th that it has signed a contract to acquire Trinitysoft, an application security specialist.
Through the deal, SSR plans to pursue strategic business expansion with Trinitysoft to strengthen its position as a specialized security solution provider in the information security market.
According to SSR, the company will acquire a 99% stake in Trinitysoft under the deal, bringing Trinitysoft into the fold as an SSR subsidiary. Both companies will continue to operate independently under their existing names and management structures, while maximizing synergy through business cooperation between the affiliates.
Founded in 2005, Trinitysoft is an application security specialist focused on providing secure coding solutions for software development security. Its flagship product, the source code security vulnerability inspection tool "CODE-RAY XG V6.0 R2," is regarded as a core solution for software supply chain security, offering integrated, stage-by-stage source code security services to manage vulnerabilities that can arise during software analysis, design, development, implementation, testing and operation.
CODE-RAY XG has obtained CC certification and GS certification from the Telecommunications Technology Association (TTA), and is used for secure software development and deployment across numerous enterprise environments, including businesses, public institutions and financial organizations.
The company also recently launched "SCAN-RAY XG V6.0," which strengthens security by detecting web security vulnerabilities in applications' dynamic environments, and obtained GS certification for the product from TTA.
"Trinitysoft is a company that has provided innovative solutions based on extensive experience and technical expertise in the field of application security," Ko Pil-ju, CEO of SSR, said. "This acquisition will serve as an important stepping stone for SSR to leap forward as the No. 1 total security vulnerability service platform company by combining the strengths of both companies through sales cooperation and technical collaboration to provide customers with reliable security solutions."
Kim Jin-su, CEO of Trinitysoft, also said, "Through integration with SSR's solutions, we will provide customers with a more powerful security platform.
