KOIIA to Host Carbon Neutrality Seminar and Global Carbon Neutrality Technology Conference

The Fair Economy — Koiia announced on the 31st that it will co-host the "Global Carbon Neutrality Technology Conference" and the "Carbon Neutrality Seminar" as ancillary events of the "2024 Climate Industry International Expo Green Energy Pavilion – Carbon Neutrality Zone (Carbon Neutrality EXPO)" at Busan BEXCO Hall 1 from September 4 to 6.

The 'Carbon Neutrality Seminar' will be held from September 4 to 6 at the seminar hall in Exhibition Hall 1 under the theme 'Green by Digital'. The seminar will share carbon neutrality industrial policies and support systems, and introduce response measures for domestic companies amid global carbon regulations, including the introduction of certification systems and supply chain management. It will also showcase ESG risk responses using digital solutions and technology application cases.

Following this, the 'Global Carbon Neutrality Technology Conference', held on September 5, will share global trends, response strategies, promising technologies, and utilization plans under the keyword 'Digitalization & Sustainability'. Dell Technologies, Tata Consultancy Services, IBM, and Siemens Korea will introduce digital-based carbon reduction technologies and innovation strategies, such as artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud, for a sustainable future, presenting a new paradigm for an era of major industrial transformation.

Lee Sang-jin, head of the division at KOIIA overseeing the Carbon Neutrality EXPO, said, "As climate tech is moving beyond a simple trend to become an area of new business opportunities due to sustained demand for technologies such as carbon reduction, I hope this event serves as an important opportunity to exchange related technologies and strategies and to establish future development directions and strategic roadmaps."
