2024.08.12. The Fair Economy — Tomato System (CEO Lee Sang-don), an IT service solutions specialist, announced on the 12th that its cloud-based web IDE 'eXBuilder6 for Cloud' has received Grade 1 in Good Software (GS) certification, a software quality certification, from the Telecommunications Technology Association (TTA).

GS certification tests and evaluates software across a total of nine categories, including functional suitability, performance efficiency, and compatibility, with higher grades indicating higher software quality.

According to Tomato System, 'eXBuilder6 for Cloud' is the first cloud-based web integrated development environment (IDE) product in Korea to offer a full WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) environment. Without installing separate programs, users can simply access it through a web browser to create a development environment in the cloud, and handle development, testing, and continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD).

Unlike conventional web IDEs, this product provides a visual WYSIWYG development environment that makes screen composition easy. It can also be used for large-scale projects that require managing extensive codebases and rapid deployment.

In particular, because it can be accessed anytime, anywhere through a web browser, it is convenient to use simply by logging into a web browser when working remotely on projects for public institutions located in regional areas, where securing development personnel can be difficult. It also provides project monitoring and management tools, boosting satisfaction not only for developers but also for project managers (PMs) and business operators alike.

Lee Sang-don, CEO of Tomato System, said, "We have obtained the GS certification, which recognizes the product's excellent performance and stability. We will continue to develop technology and manage quality to provide customers with the best solutions and expand our business. With the government's cloud activation policy, related demand is expected to increase, and we anticipate that the supply of eXBuilder6 for Cloud to public institutions will expand further."
