2024.08.13. The Fair Economy — F5 released its "2024 Digital Enterprise Maturity Index (DEMI)" report on the 13th to help companies assess their level of digital maturity.
According to F5, the DEMI report provides an in-depth analysis of global companies' digital transformation (DX) efforts, noting that generative artificial intelligence (AI) is playing a key role in driving digital maturity across industries worldwide.
The report offers insight into how global companies are using AI to modernize enterprise architecture, strengthen automation capabilities, and improve efficiency in data management operations.
Lori MacVittie, F5's Senior Evangelist and Distinguished Engineer, said, "The explosive evolution of generative AI is not merely a technological advancement but has emerged as a source of transformative capability reshaping the entire digital business landscape. F5's 2024 DEMI report provides companies with a step-by-step roadmap to understand their current position and achieve digital maturity."
The report classifies companies into three groups based on their progress in digital innovation.
The first group, "Doers," is leading the pack with notable achievements in modernization. The second group, "Dabblers," consists of companies that are in the early stages of digital transformation. The final group, "Dawdlers," includes companies showing little to no progress in strengthening their digital capabilities.
This classification helps assess companies' levels of digital maturity and readiness for AI integration.
