2024.06.04. The Fair Economy — Tmax Group recently held its "27th Anniversary Ceremony" at Tmax Tower in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, on Nov. 3, unveiling a renewed CI (Corporate Identity) to mark the occasion and declaring its ambition to usher in a "new world of DT (Digital Transformation)."
According to Tmax Group, about 550 employees attended the ceremony in person. Another roughly 1,000 employees joined the anniversary event via video conference using Tmax's collaboration solution, WAPL.
Ahead of the main ceremony, the renewed CI was unveiled. Taking the podium, Tmax CMO (Chief Marketing Officer) and Executive Vice President Kim Jae-hwan introduced the CI, explaining that it embodies the meanings of being Outstanding, Boundless and Integrated.
The newly unveiled CI uses a brighter, more saturated shade of blue to express a sense of being Alive. It also combines the A and I in "A(L)I(VE)" to convey the meaning of "a future together with new AI technology."
"Tmax's new future and new technology alongside AI will be accompanied by our own flexibility and boldness," Kim Jae-hwan said. "The soft curves in the CI represent Tmax's flexible approach to new technology, while straightening the previously tilted lettering of the old CI is meant to convey an honest and trustworthy guarantee of our technological capability," he explained.
Following the unveiling of the renewed CI, the event proceeded with awards for employees with 10 years of service and outstanding performers, a cake-cutting ceremony, viewing of a commemorative video and an encouraging speech by Park Dae-yeon, chairman of Tmax Group.
Chairman Park Dae-yeon celebrated the 27th anniversary, saying, "We have run tirelessly and thought endlessly to build a more beneficial world. Now we intend to take the lead in creating an entirely new DT world." He added, "Despite the emergence of new technologies led by AI and the big bang of technological competition, Tmax Group has, over the past 27 years, established itself and grown as a company with homegrown, original IT technology. Today, with the unveiling of our new CI, marks a fresh start toward opening a new DT market."
Meanwhile, Tmax Group plans to hold "Super App Day 2024" in Samseong-dong, Gangnam District, on Nov. 13.
