2024.06.04. The Fair Economy — Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, a digital reality solutions company that combines sensors, software and autonomous technologies, announced on the 4th that it successfully held the "APK Partner Connect 2024" event over two days, from the 23rd to the 24th of last month, at the Hexagon Smart Factory and Hexagon Experience Center in Qingdao, China. The event brought together about 100 executives and employees from Asia-Pacific partner companies and from Hexagon itself.
According to Hexagon, this year's event shared Korea's success stories in manufacturing digital transformation (DX), along with outstanding examples of Hexagon solution adoption from across the Asia-Pacific region, including Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Malaysia, with executives and employees of participating partner companies.
Following market trend analyses and solution presentations by speakers from each business division, guided tours were held of the Hexagon Smart Factory and Experience Center, the largest of their kind in the Asia-Pacific region. At the Hexagon Experience Center, which showcases the latest solutions from Hexagon's affiliates, participants observed Hexagon's measurement equipment and production processes. They also toured the "Smart Factory," where the cutting-edge technologies and capabilities on display at the Experience Center are actually brought to life through Hexagon's AI technology.
In a presentation on DX cases in Korea's manufacturing industry in the Changwon Industrial Complex and the Gyeongnam region, as well as "Manufacturing Innovation and Capability Building Through Hexagon's Nexus Platform," Hexagon Korea introduced advanced technologies that can be adopted and applied at the right time and place in product manufacturing processes to drive business growth.
At the gala dinner, Hexagon's partners gathered for a networking event to share experiences and knowledge by country and industry. In the final program, an awards ceremony honoring outstanding partners, Korea's PSI, SVD, HANKOOK CNS and RAON X were recognized.
