2024.07.01. The Fair Economy — The Korea Software Industry Association (KOSA) announced on Oct. 1 that it has fully revamped its official website.
The overhaul reflects the association's identity as an organization aiming to leap beyond its traditional role as a software industry body and become a representative institution for emerging and converging industries.
In particular, the redesign focused on supporting convenient services for member companies and enhancing various user-friendly features that allow users to easily access association information.
KOSA improved page layouts, including the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX), with an emphasis on accessibility and convenience so that it can offer diverse member services and help users find the information they need more easily.
First, the revamped website places the association's key activities and useful information at the top for intuitive access. It also created a separate quick menu for frequently used services such as business operator and technician experience applications, average wage calculations, project fee inquiries, and training applications, allowing users to access them with ease.
In addition, the website now offers various member-exclusive services, including partner services, a member promotion gallery, and member news. It has also been improved so that members can easily apply for and manage these services directly on the website.
A 'Member Map' feature was introduced, allowing users to easily check the locations of all full member companies on a map and grasp their positions intuitively. A service enabling collaboration and matching between companies and member firms is also on the verge of launch.
Cho Jun-hui, president of KOSA, said, "We expect that the website overhaul will allow member companies and users to enjoy convenient and useful services. Going forward, we will reflect the association's efforts to provide an innovative vision and convenient services throughout the website to increase satisfaction."
