2024.07.16. The Fair Economy — The Financial Security Institute announced that it held the opening ceremony for 'Financial Security Academy 2024' at its main auditorium on the 16th to discover and nurture future talent responsible for digital finance.

According to the Financial Security Institute, after recruiting students for 'Financial Security Academy 2024' since June, it ultimately selected outstanding candidates in a fiercely competitive process with an average competition ratio of about 5:1.

This year's 'Financial Security Academy 2024' expanded and reorganized its curriculum, including adding a new 'AI and data' track, driven by the financial sector's intense competition and demand for cybersecurity and AI and data talent.

The academy now consists of two tracks, adding the 'AI and data' track to the existing 'cyber intrusion threat analysis and response' track. It also sought to strengthen the curriculum by adding new subjects such as reverse engineering (software vulnerability analysis) to provide practical knowledge that university students and graduate students find difficult to access.

Starting with the entrance ceremony, trainees will take specialized courses prepared by the Financial Security Institute for each track.

The 'cyber intrusion threat analysis and response' curriculum consists of theoretical and practical training on four topics: reverse engineering, web and system hacking, digital forensics, and malicious code analysis and response.

The 'AI and data' curriculum consists of theoretical and practical training on four topics: data preprocessing and visualization techniques, data analysis techniques, deep learning and natural language processing techniques, and data anonymization and AI security techniques.

In addition, trainees will receive education and mentoring from Financial Security Institute staff, who are top-level digital and security experts in the financial sector, and will learn various professional knowledge, problem-solving capabilities, and leadership required of experts.
