2024.07.18. The Fair Economy — The Gangwon Information and Culture Industry Promotion Agency said on the 19th that it will present the third concert of its club performance support program, 'Track LIVE,' by the Gangwon Information & Multimedia Corporation at CODA in Wonju.
According to the corporation, the 'Track LIVE' concert series is an event designed to provide performance opportunities for musicians in Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province and to revitalize the local live performance culture. It was held on the 6th at Nami Island in Chuncheon and on the 12th at CODA in Gangneung, and the third performance is scheduled for the 19th in Wonju.
The concert will feature four teams — Wish list, YDM, SiiiL, and Haebich Band — performing a variety of band genres.
The participating musicians are Gangwon-based bands active both within and outside the province. They have gained musical experience by taking part in various support programs run by the Gangwon Information & Multimedia Corporation. In particular, Haebich Band is a skilled group that won first prize twice at national music competitions in the first half of 2024, and it is expected to deliver a powerful stage performance based on its solid instrumental skills.
A project manager said, "There are few opportunities to enjoy band concerts in the Gangwon region, so we hope this program will help expand the culture of live band performances. We look forward to seeing strong interest from local residents in the CODA Wonju concert."
