2024.07.22. The Fair Economy — Gyeonggi Global and GBSA.or.kr said on the 22nd that they are recruiting trainees for the "AI Specialist Training Program by Gyeonggi Global and Google Cloud" until Aug. 11 to cultivate talent specialized in cloud technology and artificial intelligence (AI).
The program is open to any unemployed youth aged 39 or under who are interested in cloud and generative AI and either reside in Gyeonggi Global, have graduated from a university or graduate school in the province, or are scheduled to do so.
The training will be held for about two months from August to October, totaling 288 hours, consisting of 200 hours of online training using the Google Cloud Platform and 88 hours of Google Cloud accredited offline training.
The curriculum is practice‑oriented, covering cloud and AI modeling from basic understanding to real‑world application. Participants will not only learn theory but also gain hands‑on experience implementing AI projects in a real Google Cloud environment, enhancing their ability to apply technology directly.
The training is fully free of charge and includes modules on understanding AI modeling, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) architecture, AI processing based on GCP, and implementing practical projects.
In addition to the training, the organizers plan to actively support job seekers in the AI field by hosting networking days with Google Cloud partners, offering one-on-one job counseling, subsidizing exam fees for Google Cloud certification tests, and arranging office tours.
