2024.07.25. The Fair Economy — PABLO AIR (CEO Kim Yeong-jun), a company specializing in autonomous swarm control technology for unmanned vehicles, said on the 25th that it took part as South Korea's representative on the first day of the international drone show competition "Drone Light Battle 2024: Ever Glamour Nha Trang" (EGN 2024), held in Nha Trang, Vietnam, starting July 13.

According to PABLO AIR, the company staged a spectacular performance themed "The Beauty of Nha Trang's Sea" at the EGN 2024 opening ceremony on the 13th, combining its technological capabilities with original creative direction before an estimated 60,000 spectators, according to organizers' estimates.

In particular, the company put on a dazzling and powerful drone show using 1,000 "flame drones." PABLO AIR said the overwhelming visual impact of its signature flame drone show drew praise from spectators and judges alike.

EGN 2024, one of the largest light festivals in the world, combines technology, light, music and cultural events to offer visitors an unprecedented experience. Vietnam's Ministry of National Defence and the Khanh Hoa Province Department of Tourism, which are hosting EGN 2024, expect about 1 million domestic and international visitors to come to Nha Trang during the event.

At the opening ceremony, South Korea and China presented their drone shows first, with performances by France and the United Arab Emirates scheduled to follow depending on local conditions.

The event allows drone companies to showcase their technological capabilities, competing over the limits of drone technology and the creativity of their drone shows. Participating companies compete under identical conditions, each using 1,000 drones.

PABLO AIR is making various attempts to present performances differentiated from existing LED drone shows. To complete a special drone art show, the company develops its own performance drones, including firework drones and water drones, and combines multimedia elements such as music, fireworks, lasers, and smoke to enhance the quality of its performances.

Lee Jang-cheol, Vice President of PABLO AIR's business division, said, "It is an honor to participate as Korea's representative in an international drone competition, a stage to showcase Korea's outstanding drone technology and directing capabilities to the world. Starting with this event, we plan to target the Vietnamese drone market through partnerships with Vietnam, and use this as a stepping stone to further accelerate our global expansion into Southeast Asia and the Middle East."

Meanwhile, PABLO AIR, which became the first Korean company to stage a drone show in 2019, set its third Guinness World Records title in April with a flame drone show using 1,068 drones. Drawing on years of experience and expertise, the company developed the flame drone "PabloX F40" and is accelerating preparations for full-scale exports with the goal of selling the product in global markets.
