2024.10.10. The Fair Economy — LS Cable & System announced on the 10th that it has obtained ISO 37301, an international certification for compliance management systems, from BSI.
According to LS Cable & System, ISO 37301 is a certification granted after evaluating whether a company's legal compliance and ethical systems meet international standards. LS Cable & System is the first in the global cable industry to obtain this certification.
LS Cable & System strengthened its compliance management and pursued the certification process to secure the trust of global customers and investors. BSI highly praised LS Cable & System's employees for enhancing the compliance management system through systematic management policies and regulations.
In addition, this certification is closely related to ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) standards, and is expected to contribute to strengthening LS Cable & System's ESG management and enhancing its competitiveness in winning orders in global markets such as Europe.
LS Cable & System noted that, as compliance and ESG factors have become important evaluation criteria in the bidding processes of global customers, the certification now allows the company to clearly present its compliance records, and it has bolstered its position as a company pursuing ESG management.
